Hepar Compositum Ampoules
Composition
Each 2.2ml Ampoule Contains:
- alpha-lipoicum acidum D12
- Avena sativa D6
- Calcarea carbonica D28
- Carduus marianus D3
- Chelidonium majus, radix D4
- Cholesterinum D10
- Cinchona officinalis D4
- Cynara scolymus D6
- Histaminum D10
- Lycopodium clavatum D4
- Nadidum D12
- Sulphur D13
- Taraxacum officinale D4, 0.11ml each
Indications:
Stimulation of the detoxicating function of the liver in acute cases and chronic diseases of the liver/gall, e.g. cholanditis and cholecystitis; in functional disorders of the liver of toxic origin as cause or result of other diseases; in hypercholesteremia, erythematodes, toxic exanthema, dermatosis, and dermatitis, neurodermitis and for the stimulations of the liver-cell function.
Side Effects:
During treatment with medications containings Chelidonium majus in low dilutions, eleveated levels of liver enzymes (transaminases) and bilirubin have been observed in individual cases, to the point of drug-induced hepatitis and jaundice. These symptoms abated when treatment was discontinued .
Duration of Use: Liver function tests should be performed if this medication is used for more than four weeks
Dosage:
Adults: In acute cases, 1 ampoule 3-1 times daily, otherwise 3-1 times weekly
